The Department of Homeland Security is a security department in the United States.

It is where Ben Gates and Riley Poole go first to warn the government about Ian Howe's attempt to steal the Declaration of Independence. Since the Homeland Security doesn't believe them, they then try Federal Bureau of Investigation, and when that fails, they go straight to the National Archives to warn them.
